Scoops of Love
The Gin Blossoms will perform a free acoustic set and serve ice cream to benefit the Scottsdale Healthcare Shea Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in the “Scoops of Love” fundraiser, June 3 at Cold Stone Creamery in Kierland Commons. The event starts at 5 p.m. with a free performance by the Gin Blossoms, who will also serve ice cream and auction a Fender ® Telecaster® guitar signed by the band.
Safety Reminder
Level I Trauma Center staff at Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn remind drivers that auto accidents are among the most preventable causes of injury and death in Arizona. The hospital is the only Trauma Center serving the East Valley and treats many accident victims each month.
Teaching Accreditation
Scottsdale Healthcare announces it is now fully credentialed as an academic teaching hospital by the Association of American Medical Colleges’ Council of Teaching Hospitals. A significant achievement, COTH membership is typically associated with major university medical centers.
